We want you to feel comfortable about choosing us. Choosing a videographer to record your once-in-a-lifetime event is an important decision, and we are here to answer any questions you may have. But you may be wondering what kind of experience we have....
Our Philosophy
We like to cater to the individual. Everyone has different tastes. Yet, at the same time, everyone wants one thing: Quality. We can make a beautiful quality piece, and deliver it at a reasonable price. It won't be treated the same as the wedding before. It's a unique story in and of itself.
The Owner
The owner, Kennon Shain, has had extensive video experience.
He graduated from Emerson College with a B.A. in 2002, with a Major in
Visual and Media Arts. His concentration was in film and video, and he took
extensive classes for them (including using state-of-the-art DV cameras and
Media 100 Non-Linear Editing Stations).
After graduating, he's pursued many different venues.
He's made music videos (including a performance that was being
sponsored by the radio station WHJY, at Lupos in Rhode Island),
charity benefits (RAADD-Recording Artists Against Drunk Driving),
films ("The Rising Hotel"-a nine minute 16mm film), and commercials
(re-edited a "Bud Light" spot; local commercial for Martini's Restaurant and Bar in Weymouth).
Currently, he's producing, filming, and editing several music videos for local artists. He is also a co-owner in the CMH Project, a film initiative who's goal is to bring moviemaking to the south shore.
Our Company
Cupid Productions has always thought of itself as a different kind of wedding company. Our customers are always amazed at how unobtrusive we can be. The last thing you need is for the videographer to get in your way. We stay out of your way, but still catch all the important moments of your event.
We are also a member of the NPVA, a 20-year-old organization consisting of local professional videographers.
We have all the high-quality equipment that your event demands-including digital camcorders, shotgun and lapel mics, stability camera mounts, and dimmer lights. Since the owner has such diverse experience, he puts more attention into events than many other companies. We are here to personalize your DVD, so that you can remember all the sights and sounds with future generations.
